After the evaluation process, Khalil was selected for the top post.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, The APNS has welcomed and congratulated Ashfaq Ahmad Khalil on his appointment as Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.<br \/>\nThe office bearers of All Pakistan Newspapers Society have hoped that during his tenure as Secretary Information Mr. Ashfaq Ahmad Khalil would protect and safeguard the freedom of press and address the problems of print media.
