PESHAWAR: A man shot and killed his wife and injured the daughter in the jurisdiction of Mechani Gate Police Station here, police informed on Tuesday. According to the FIR filed by Waheed ur Rehman, a resident of Sabz Ali Town, his 65-year-old aunt Rameem Bibi and his cousin Alia, daughter of Gohar Rehman were at home when the accused, Gohar Rehman, armed with a weapon entered the house. He allegedly opened fire on his wife and daughter, leaving both seriously injured. They were immediately shifted to the hospital, but the wife succumbed to her injuries on the way, while the daughter remains unconscious. The complainant stated that the accused had been pressuring his wife to demand his share in the parents\u2019 property. This dispute reportedly led to the violent attack.
