\nRaja Najabat Hussain, founding chairman of the Jammu Kashmir Self-Determination Movement International (JKSDMI) and one of the most prominent Kashmiri voices on the global diplomatic stage, has been honoured with the Global Ambassador Award 2025 by the Diplomatic Insight Group. The award was presented at a special ceremony in Islamabad in recognition of his four decades of diplomatic and political advocacy, his efforts to strengthen Pakistan\u2013UK relations, and his longstanding commitment to human rights.
\nThe ceremony brought together ambassadors from various countries, international dignitaries, business leaders and members of civil society, reflecting the prestige attached to the Global Ambassador Awards, now in their seventh edition and regarded as one of the notable platforms acknowledging diplomatic and international service.
\nSince 1976, Raja Najabat Hussain has played a vital role at global forums, consistently amplifying the voices of Kashmiris and highlighting human rights concerns. His work has not only kept the Kashmir issue alive internationally but has also contributed significantly to promoting Pakistan\u2019s positive image abroad. Diplomats and policy circles credit his sustained efforts with creating greater awareness among global decision-makers about the Kashmiri people\u2019s right to self-determination.
