Referring to the post-9\/11 situation, he noted that KP bore the heaviest impact of the war against terrorism and is now firmly focused on infrastructure development, institutional strengthening, and capacity building. He also highlighted that the government is actively advancing small hydropower projects and dams to provide affordable and clean energy to domestic and commercial customers.<br \/>\nThe U.S. Consul General stated that commercial diplomacy is a core pillar of U.S. foreign policy and that economic engagement plays a vital role in promoting peace and global stability.<br \/>\nThe meeting concluded with a shared commitment to further strengthen bilateral cooperation for security, development, and mutual prosperity.<br \/>\nCM KP strongly condemns attack on AC North Waziristan<br \/>\nChief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Afridi, strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the convoy of the Assistant Commissioner of North Waziristan in Bannu district.<br \/>\nThe Chief Minister expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of the Assistant Commissioner, two police personnel, and a passerby in the attack.<br \/>\nThe Chief Minister has sought a detailed report of the incident from the IGP. \u201cThe incident is extremely tragic. Anti-state elements cannot weaken our resolve through such cowardly attacks,\u201d said Sohaib Afridi. He said sacrifices of the martyrs will not go in vain and those involved will be brought to justice. The Chief Minister directed that the injured be provided immediate and best medical treatment. \u201cThe war against terrorism will continue with even stronger determination,\u201d said Sohail Afridi. The Chief Minister prayed for the elevation of ranks of the martyred Assistant Commissioner, the police personnel, and the passerby. \u201cWe share the grief of the families of the martyrs.
