During the previous hearing, Justice Raja Inam Amin Minhas issued notices to the CDA and sought a response by December 16. The lawyer representing the affected residents stated that thousands of people live in the slum, including areas of Biry Imam and Noor Pur, with Muslim Colony established since 1960. He added that the Supreme Court has already directed the creation of a mechanism for dealing with slum settlements. The lawyer argued that the CDA has been demolishing homes without prior notice or proper awareness, making the operation unjustified. ONLINE<\/p>\n<p>He requested the court to order a halt to the ongoing demolitions.
