\nPakistan has urged the UN Security Council to ensure that the Syrian sovereignty is upheld and the collective action to consolidate peace and recovery is anchored in a Syrian-led political transition.
\nSpeaking at the UN Security Council meeting, Deputy Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the UN Usman Jadoon recalled that the past year had opened an opportunity for a path toward stability, recovery, and reconciliation,\u201d while also emphasizing that it be matched by the international community\u2019s constructive engagement.
\nHe strongly denounced Israel\u2019s repeated infringements of Syria\u2019s sovereignty, citing attacks and territorial occupation as conduct that must cease without delay.
