PESHAWAR
\nKhyber Pakhtunkhwa government has formally approved the recruitment of 2,800 watchmen for government schools across 28 districts of the province.
\nThis step has been taken to improve security and discipline in educational institutions.
\nAccording to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department, the recruitment process to fill vacant positions in schools will be carried out with complete transparency.
\nAll appointments will be made through advertisements, competitive procedures, and strictly on merit, so that eligible and capable candidates can be given opportunities.
\nAccording to the figures, the highest number of positions 377 watchmen has been allocated to Mansehra district, while Bannu allotted 263, Mardan 256, Peshawar 162, Lakki Marwat 160, and Abbottabad 154 positions.
\nOther districts have also been allocated positions in proportion to their population and the number of educational institutions.
