PTD has announced to curtail public transport fare ranging between Rs 60 and 180 on inter district routes. Lahore-Islamabad public transport fare has been reduced from Rs 1910 to Rs 1850. Lahore-Murree fare has been reduced from Rs 2370 to Rs 2290, Lahore-Peshawar fare from Rs 2610 to Rs 2510, Lahore-Mansehra from Rs 2500 to Rs 2420 and Lahore-Abbottabad fare has been reduced from Rs 2310 to Rs 2240. Secretary RTA Rana Mohsin said Lahore to Faisalabad fare has been reduced from Rs 1010 to Rs 980, Lahore-Sadiq Abad from Rs 2510 to Rs 2430, Lahore-Multan from Rs 1700 to Rs 1650 while fare from Lahore to Karachi has been curtailed from Rs 5800 to Rs 5620 and Lahore -Sukkar fare has been reduced from Rs 3510 to Rs 3400.
