The public hearing was presided over by the Chairman NEPRA and was attended by officials of CPPA-G, representatives of the business community, officials of the Ministry of Energy, journalists and general public, according to a NEPRA statement. The CPPA-G has sought 72 paisa per unitreduction in the power tariff for November. If approved, this adjustment will only apply for one month. The adjustment would be applicable to all DISCOs\u2019 consumers including K-Electric , except lifeline users, protected consumers, prepaid users, and electric vehicle charging stations. The Authority will issue a detailed decision after reviewing all statistics.
