\nKhyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control, Syed Fakhar Jehan has emphasized that addressing fundamental public issues and providing citizens with relief and facilities remains the provincial government\u2019s top priority.
\nHe said Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi is taking proactive steps to ensure public welfare, prioritizing citizens\u2019 essential needs and challenges.
\nProvincial Minister Syed Fakhar Jehan made these remarks during his visit to PK-26 Bunir, where he held a public day at his residence, meeting with delegations from PK-26 and other areas of the district.Various delegations presented their concerns and highlighted pressing issues affecting the local population.
\nThe provincial minister attentively listened to the public\u2019s grievances and issued on-the-spot directives to relevant departments and officials to ensure immediate resolution of several key issues. He stated that in line with public expectations no delay or negligence from any government department will be tolerated in this regard.
\nHighlighting the purpose of the public day, Minister Fakhar Jehan explained that it allows officials to hear citizens\u2019 concerns directly and provide prompt and effective relief.
\nHe reiterated the provincial government\u2019s determination to enhance public service delivery and accelerate the development process, insisting that departments must act without delay.
\nHe further stated that serving the people of the province, including specifically the residents of Buner, is his responsibility as a public representative and he remains committed to taking all possible measures for their progress and prosperity.
\nMeanwhile, the minister also met with a delegation from the Marble Association, who shared challenges faced by their business and industrial sectors.
