\nPESHAWAR
\nAn important meeting held here on Monday with provincial minister for law and parliamentary affairs in the chair, reviewed the regularization of employees serving under various development projects in the erstwhile FATA, a handout said.
\nThe meeting was attended by minister for public health engineering Fazal Shakoor Khan, advisor to the Chief Minister on finance Muzammil Aslam via Zoom, and senior officials from the Planning and Development and Establishment Departments.
\nOfficials reviewed the legal and administrative status of project employees who were made permanent under the \u201cKhyber Pakhtunkhwa Regularization of Services of Employees of Formerly FATA Act 2021\u201d and the posts attached to them.
\nThe discussion focused on harmonizing legal requirements, court decisions, and administrative needs, including the clear demarcation of planning and non-planning cadre. A proposal was also considered to regularize project employees while declaring their posts as \u201cdying cadre\u201d upon retirement to avoid unnecessary financial and administrative burden and maintain system sustainability.
\nLaw minister Aftab Alam Khan emphasized that justice, transparency, and adherence to the law would guide the resolution.
\nHe affirmed the government\u2019s commitment to protecting employees\u2019 legitimate rights while strengthening the provincial administrative structure.
