\nProvincial minister elementary and secondary education Arshad Ayub Khan has directed officials to ensure the timely completion of the digitization system in the education department to enhance the quality of education, improve performance, and ensure transparency across the province. He issued these directives while chairing a briefing meeting at the directorate of elementary and secondary education in Peshawar on Tuesday.
\nSecretary education Muhammad Khalid Khan, Chief Planning Officer Zainullah, Director Elementary and Secondary Education Naghmana Sardar, district education officers, and other relevant officials attended the meeting.
\nDuring the briefing, the director apprised the minister of departmental affairs, ongoing educational projects, progress achieved so far, and future action plans.
\nAddressing the meeting, the provincial minister directed district education officers to further improve service delivery at the district level and immediately identify and address deficiencies in facilities.
\nHe instructed circle education officers to resolve departmental issues in their respective districts in a timely manner, warning that failure to do so would invite accountability. The minister ordered the immediate suspension of the procurement process for school bags and stationery and directed that all future purchases be made through the e-Bidding (e-BED) system.
\nArshad Ayub Khan also instructed that the public complaint cell portal be activated at the directorate level to ensure lawful and prompt redressal of public grievances.
\nThe Minister for education emphasized that retirement-related issues should be resolved within seven days at the district level and announced the introduction of an e-retirement system under the digital framework.
\nHe also directed officials to focus on the Planning and Development Wing, ensure proper supervision of construction projects, and promote teamwork across the department.
\nThe minister stressed the need for merit-based disposal of litigation cases and transparency in all departmental matters. He further directed timely implementation of in-line action management, ETA scholarships, PTC teacher appointments, and Class-IV recruitments.
\nHe also directed that accommodation facilities be provided for male and female officers at the district level.
\nArshad Ayub Khan announced that around 6,000 teachers would be recruited for a five-month period in summer zone areas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
