{"id":525207,"date":"2026-01-13T00:23:30","date_gmt":"2026-01-12T19:23:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=525207"},"modified":"2026-01-13T00:23:30","modified_gmt":"2026-01-12T19:23:30","slug":"health-minister-orders-crackdown-on-unlicensed-medical-stores-across-kp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/health-minister-orders-crackdown-on-unlicensed-medical-stores-across-kp\/","title":{"rendered":"Health minister orders crackdown on unlicensed medical stores across KP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DLP Report<br \/>\nPESHAWAR<br \/>\nThe Provincial Minister for Health Khaliq ur Rehman has ordered strict legal action against all unlicensed medical stores and directed the launch of a province-wide enforcement campaign against substandard and falsified (SF) medicines, with immediate effect.<br \/>\nThese crucial decisions were taken in a high-level meeting held in the Committee Room of the Health Department under the chairmanship of the Minister for Health, in collaboration with the Secretary Health and senior officials of the Directorate General of Drug Control &#038; Pharmacy Services.<br \/>\nThe Minister further directed all drug inspectors and field officers to intensify advocacy and awareness campaigns with chemists and druggists through their respective unions and associations to ensure strict compliance with drug laws, rules, and regulations across the province.<br \/>\nTo ensure transparency and accountability, the Minister ordered that all enforcement activities shall be reported on a daily basis, supported by pictorial evidence, through duly compiled Daily Activity Reports.<br \/>\nThese reports will be reviewed fortnightly by the Minister for Health and the Secretary Health.<br \/>\nReaffirming the government\u2019s zero-tolerance policy, the Provincial Minister for Health stated that no compromise will be made on the quality, safety, and efficacy of medicines, and that protecting public health remains the top priority of the provincial government.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DLP Report PESHAWAR The Provincial Minister for Health Khaliq ur Rehman has ordered strict legal action against all unlicensed medical stores and directed the launch of a province-wide enforcement campaign against substandard and falsified (SF) medicines, with immediate effect.
