\nPESHAWAR: Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations Shafi Jan has said that all attempts to malign the Chief Minister Sohail Afridi would fail, emphasizing that honor and disgrace rest in the hands of Almighty Allah.
\nHe said that ensuring law and order, promoting good governance, and strengthening transparency in government institutions were the top priorities of the KP provincial government.
\nHe claimed that Chief Minister Sohail Afridi was personally overseeing all administrative affairs of the province to achieve these goals.
\nShafi Jan stated that, to resolve public issues, eliminate corruption, and provide services at citizens\u2019 doorsteps, Chief Minister Afridi has initiated a series of online Khuli Kacharis.
\n\u201c Clear directives have also been issued to administrative secretaries of all government departments to ensure effective implementation,\u201d he added.
\nCM aide on information stated that the provincial government led by PTI has introduced a comprehensive system titled \u201cAwam Ka Ehsas\u201d for the prompt, effective, and transparent redressal of public complaints.
\nCitizens can lodge complaints through both digital and traditional platforms. Shafi Jan described the initiative as a significant step toward good governance.
\nHe further highlighted that KP has a genuinely elected government where freedom of expression prevails. Following the vision of PTI founding chairman Imran Khan, Chief Minister Afridi, who hails from a middle-class family, has ushered in a new era of people-oriented governance, which aims to ensure peace, development, and prosperity in the province.
\nHe also reaffirmed that the KP government has ensured full freedom of expression for opposition parties and journalists, noting that freedom of expression is vital to strengthening democracy.
\nThe Special Assistant added that Chief Minister Afridi\u2019s recent visit to Sindh has opened a new chapter in the history of the street movement, with enthusiastic public participation in Karachi, Hyderabad, and other areas reflecting growing political awareness.
