\nCommissioner Kohat Division Syed Motasim Billah Shah on Tuesday attended the Qul ceremony of seven young men who were killed in a tragic landslide in the Qamar area of Gumbat tehsil.
\nDuring the visit, the Commissioner conveyed heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the bereaved families on behalf of the provincial government, divisional administration and police. He offered Fateha for the departed souls and prayed for the elevation of their ranks.
\nCalling the incident deeply tragic, Shah said the loss had plunged not only the affected families but the entire area into mourning. \u201cThe whole nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the grieving families in this hour of sorrow,\u201d he said, assuring them that the government would not abandon them in their time of need.
