{"id":526278,"date":"2026-01-18T01:14:21","date_gmt":"2026-01-17T20:14:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/?p=526278"},"modified":"2026-01-18T01:14:21","modified_gmt":"2026-01-17T20:14:21","slug":"mari-energies-backed-sky47-launches-cloud-ai-platform-near-islamabad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadpakistan.com.pk\/news\/mari-energies-backed-sky47-launches-cloud-ai-platform-near-islamabad\/","title":{"rendered":"Mari Energies-backed Sky47 launches cloud, AI platform near Islamabad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> Islamabad<br \/>\nSky47 Limited, a majority-owned subsidiary of Mari Energies Limited, has entered Pakistan\u2019s high-tech landscape with the launch of its first cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure platform near Islamabad.<br \/>\nThe development was disclosed by Mari Energies Limited (MARI), one of Pakistan\u2019s largest oil and gas exploration companies, in its notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Friday.<br \/>\n\u201cSky47 Limited, a majority-owned subsidiary of Mari Energies Limited, through its fully owned subsidiary Mari Technologies Limited, has launched its first cloud and AI infrastructure platform at Silicon Valley of Capital Smart City near Islamabad, marking a major step towards the digital and technological evolution,\u201d read the notice.<br \/>\nThe company said that the platform has been designed to deliver secure, scalable, and sovereign digital infrastructure, \u201cenabling enterprises, government institutions, and innovators to run mission-critical workloads within Pakistan while meeting global standards of performance, reliability, and compliance\u201d.<br \/>\nLast year, Mari Energies announced its plan to diversify into technology through data centre projects, with a 5MW facility in Islamabad set for completion in 2026 and construction already underway in Karachi.<br \/>\nBack in September, Telenor Pakistan launched the country\u2019s first AI-ready sovereign cloud in collaboration with Data Vault Pakistan, enabling enterprises to securely access advanced GPU-accelerated computing and locally hosted AI infrastructure for the first time.<br \/>\nIn recent years, Pakistan has taken a number of initiatives to foster its digital growth.
