The Islamabad district administration said that some entry points to Murree have now been partially opened. The decision was taken after initial clearance work and an assessment of road conditions.
\nAccording to the administration, local residents and tourists will be allowed to enter Murree in phases. This step aims to prevent traffic congestion and reduce the risk of accidents on snow-covered roads. Officials said that controlled entry will remain in place until conditions improve.
\nA spokesperson for the district administration stated that heavy machinery is being used to clear snow from all major roads.
