\nKhyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has clarified that there was no ongoing military operation in the Tirah Valley, adding that the migration of people from the region during winter was a routine process.
\nSpeaking to the media, the governor explained that this year, the provincial government had allocated Rs 4 billion to assist with the relocation and rehabilitation of displaced persons, with the registration of internally displaced persons (IDPs) already underway.
\nMr Kundi noted that traditionally, up to 30 percent of the population in the area migrates during the winter months.
\nHowever, this year, due to concerns over potential military operations, the migration rate has surged to 50\u201360 percent. He reassured that anti-terrorism operations, while necessary, would continue to target terrorist elements wherever they are found.
\nThe governor advised Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) to clarify its political direction and refrain from engaging in chaotic politics.
\nHe also commented on the 28th Constitutional Amendment, stating that any proposed changes would undergo thorough debate in Parliament after Eid.
\nFaisal Karim Kundi has stated that the provincial government\u2019s primary focus was on ensuring the well-being of all individuals, including prisoners, stressing that the law applies equally to everyone.
\nMr Kundi defended the transfer of former prime minister Imran Khan from prison to a hospital for treatment, stating that such a process was both human and legal.
