QUETTA
\nBalochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti said Saturday that security forces have eliminated more than 700 terrorists across the province over the past 12 months as part of ongoing counterterrorism operations.
\nSarfraz Bugti, in a statement shared on social media platform X, said that nearly 70 terrorists were killed in the last two days alone during security operations.
\nHe revealed that early Saturday morning, terrorists belonging to Fitna-e-Hindustan attempted attacks in various areas of Balochistan, but were successfully thwarted by the Balochistan Police and Frontier Corps (FC).
\nHe added that due to timely and effective action, an additional 37 terrorists have been killed so far.
\nThe Chief Minister emphasized that such cowardly attacks cannot weaken the resolve of the state in its fight against terrorism.
\n\u201cThese acts of terror will not deter our determination,\u201d Bugti said.
\nReaffirming the government\u2019s stance, Bugti declared that the state would not rest until the last terrorist is eliminated.
