The decision, announced by the Pakistani government, follows the International Cricket Council\u2019s (ICC) removal of Bangladesh from the tournament after Dhaka raised security concerns over playing in India.<br \/>\n\u201cThe Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan grants approval to the Pakistan Cricket Team to participate in the ICC World T20 2026,\u201d the government said in a post on X.<br \/>\n\u201c&#8230;however, the Pakistan Cricket Team shall not take the field in the match scheduled on 15th February 2026 against India.\u201d<br \/>\nThe reasons behind Pakistan\u2019s decision not to play the T20 World Cup match against India on 15 February have come to light.
