\nSardar Hussain Babak, Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Awami National Party, said here Thursday that terrorism has badly affected Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, underscoring the need for collective efforts to eradicate this evil. In a statement here, he said due to terrorism, a number of Pashtuns have migrated to Islamabad and Punjab in search of a peaceful life, while many more families are preparing to relocate.
\nHe said that terrorism has inflicted severe economic, social, and political damage on Pashtuns. Due to lawlessness in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, employment opportunities have disappeared, and people are being forced to abandon their own homes.
\nHe added that playing a role in making Khyber Pakhtunkhwa populated and prosperous is a collective responsibility of all of us, and overseas Pashtuns can play a key role in this noble cause.
\nTo support the local economy, he said overseas Pashtuns should give priority to investing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
\nSardar Hussain Babak said that we ourselves will rebuild and prosper our abandoned homes.
