CM Afridi ordered immediate initiation of land acquisition process for the proposed hospital

\nThe Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has formally decided to establish a state-of-the-art 1,000-bed tertiary care hospital in Malakand Division to improve access to quality healthcare services for residents of the region.
\nThe decision was taken at a high-level meeting of the Health Department chaired by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi at the Chief Minister\u2019s House on Saturday.
\nThe Chief Minister directed that the project be pursued in consultation with elected representatives of Malakand Division to ensure that local healthcare needs are adequately addressed.
\nHe also ordered the immediate initiation of the land acquisition process for the proposed hospital.
\nAddressing the meeting, Mr Afridi said the establishment of the tertiary care hospital would provide significant medical relief to the people of Malakand Division by ensuring the availability of quality healthcare facilities within the region.
\nHe said the hospital would be equipped with modern medical infrastructure, including emergency services, cardiac care and kidney transplant units.
\nThe Chief Minister added that the project would help reduce the burden on major hospitals in the provincial capital and minimise the need for patients to travel long distances for medical treatment.
\nHe said the proposed hospital would strengthen the provincial healthcare system and enhance public confidence in government health services.
\nProvincial Health Minister Khaliq ur Rehman, Members of the National Assembly Junaid Akbar and Dr Amjad, Members of the Provincial Assembly Shakeel Khan and Pir Musawir, and senior officials of the Health Department attended the meeting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
