Following the court\u2019s decision, both officers were taken into custody directly from the courtroom.<br \/>\nAccording to the prosecution, the two officials were posted at the Safed Dher police post and had detained a citizen named Muhammad Ijaz, a resident of Regi, on suspicion of vehicle theft. The victim was reportedly already injured at the time of arrest, but his condition worsened during detention, leading to his death.<br \/>\nA formal inquiry into the custodial death was conducted by a Judicial Magistrate. Based on the inquiry report, the FIA registered a case against the two police officials.<br \/>\nAfter the registration of the case, the accused attempted to secure interim bail to avoid arrest.
