ISLAMABAD
\nFederal Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar on Thursday told the National Assembly that Pakistan has consistently followed a principled foreign policy on Palestine.
\nSpeaking in the House, he highlighted that on February 9, a joint statement was issued by the foreign ministers of nine Islamic countries\u2014including Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, and the UAE, Indonesia, T\u00fcrkiye, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia\u2014 strongly condemning ongoing actions in Palestine.
\nHe said the statement clearly reflected Pakistan\u2019s stance on the issue. Azam Nazeer Tarar reaffirmed that Pakistan has not recognized Israel and continues to maintain its long-standing policy on Palestine.
\nHe emphasized that the government and the state of Pakistan will continue to carry out their responsibilities at the diplomatic and international levels in accordance with national policy and international law.<\/p>\n
