\nPESHAWAR
\nAn important meeting of the Roadmap Implementation Committee (RIC) was held in the conference room of the Public Health Engineering Department(PHED) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to review progress on the implementation of the departmental roadmap.
\nThe meeting was chaired by the Secretary Public Health Engineering and attended by the Additional Secretary, concerned Directors, Project Directors, Engineers, and other relevant officers.
\nThe committee conducted a comprehensive review of ongoing development projects and reforms initiatives of the department. A detailed briefing was given on all interventions reflected on the IPMS dashboard, including physical and financial progress, achievement of targets, technical and administrative challenges, and proposed strategies to address bottlenecks.
\nThe committee also reviewed the implementation status of decisions taken in previous RIC meetings and directed that all pending issues be resolved on priority.
\nResponsible officers were instructed to submit progress reports within stipulated timelines and to provide reasons in case of delays.
\nThe Project Director CPEC was directed to revisit alternative sites where scheme site verification remains pending and to ensure that finalized PC-1 documents are submitted to the relevant forums at the earliest to avoid delays in approval and funding processes.
\nIt was unanimously decided that the geographical coordinates of finalized schemes will be shared with the e-Governance GIS team to ensure site re-verification, accurate geo-tagging, and transparency of digital records.
\nThe committee further resolved that the Director (Labs & Projects) will immediately provide updated Terms of Reference (ToRs) and Scope of Work to UNOPS to facilitate effective and timely technical assistance and project management support.
\nOn the occasion, the Secretary emphasized that effective implementation of the roadmap, transparency through digital monitoring systems, and timely completion of projects remain top priorities of the government.
