The well was drilled to a total depth of 2,100 metres and tested using OGDC\u2019s in-house technical expertise. During testing, Dars West-3 flowed at a rate of 9.70 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of gas along with 580 barrels per day (BPD) of condensate at a choke size of 36\/64 inches. The wellhead flowing pressure was recorded at 1,725 psi from the Lower Goru C-Sand reservoir.<br \/>\nThe encouraging results further confirm the hydrocarbon potential of the Lower Goru Formation in the Dars West area and strengthen OGDC\u2019s resource base. It also reflects the company\u2019s continued focus on aggressive exploration, effective reservoir evaluation, and timely development of indigenous energy resources.<br \/>\nPipeline laying is currently underway to connect the well to the KPD-TAY processing plant.
