\nAwami National Party (ANP) Provincial President Mian Iftikhar Hussain has expressed deep concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, describing recent incidents as a \u201cdangerous period of instability\u201d for the province.
\nHe referred to the quadcopter attack on the FC fort in Karak and the firing on a police van in Kohat, which resulted in the martyrdom of six police personnel, including a DSP. He also condemned the attack on an ambulance transporting injured personnel following the Karak incident, calling it \u201cthe worst example of brutality and barbarity.\u201d
\nPaying tribute to the martyred personnel, Mian Iftikhar Hussain extended condolences to their families and wished a speedy recovery for the injured. \u201cPolice and other law enforcement officials sacrifice their lives for the safety of the people, yet in the current situation, they themselves have become unsafe. If protectors of the public are targeted, who will guarantee the safety of ordinary citizens?\u201d he said.
\nHe criticized the provincial government\u2019s silence, saying it reflects that law and order is not among its priorities. He called for urgent coordination between the provincial and federal governments, stressing that effective prevention of terrorism is a shared responsibility. \u201cKhyber Pakhtunkhwa cannot afford to raise more bodies; this fire must be stopped at all costs,\u201d he warned.
\nMian Iftikhar Hussain assured that the ANP would support every measure to establish lasting peace, eliminate terrorism, and ensure the safety of citizens through inclusive engagement with all stakeholders.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
