\nTo commemorate the 75th anniversary of Pakistan\u2013China diplomatic relations, China Window, in collaboration with the prestigious Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences), hosted a high-level seminar highlighting the enduring and strategic partnership between the two nations.
\nThe event was graced by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa\u2019s Secretary for Higher Education, Muhammad Israr, as the chief guest.
\nIn his address, he described Pakistan\u2013China friendship as \u201cunparalleled and time-tested,\u201d emphasizing China\u2019s vital role in Pakistan\u2019s economic transformation.
\nHe particularly referenced the Mohmand Dam project, noting that its completion would usher in a new era of prosperity in the region.
\n\u201cThe dam, constructed with Chinese cooperation, will not only contribute to energy production but will also help resolve Peshawar\u2019s drinking water shortage,\u201d he said.
\nMuhammad Israr stressed that while government-level cooperation between the two countries remains strong, educational institutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa must now build structured partnerships with leading Chinese universities to further deepen academic collaboration.
\nPhD scholar Dr. Zarmina Baloch underscored that Pakistan\u2013China relations are a pillar of Pakistan\u2019s foreign policy and a symbol of trust and strategic partnership, playing a crucial role in regional political and economic stability.<\/p>\n
He also congratulated the people of China on the occasion of the Diamond Jubilee of bilateral ties and the Chinese New Year.<\/p>\n
Professor Dr. Gulzar Jalal highlighted the leadership of President Xi Jinping and called for accelerating progress under the Belt and Road Initiative, particularly the second phase of CPEC.
\nHe said that nine Special Economic Zones under CPEC would boost industrial growth and create employment opportunities across Pakistan.
