\nThe alliance expressed heartfelt condolences to Dr. Mehwish\u2019s family, colleagues, and the medical community, emphasizing that violence against women is a serious human rights violation that must not be tolerated.
\nThe EVAWG Alliance KP called upon the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and law enforcement agencies to conduct a time-bound, transparent, and impartial investigation, ensure the immediate arrest and prosecution of those responsible, and publicly disclose the findings. The statement noted that accountability is essential to restore public trust and prevent future acts of violence.
