\nIn the wake of devastating floods, many families in Bahawalpur continue to struggle with loss and uncertainty. This Ramadan, KBM CARE stepped in to provide vital support, distributing ration packages to widows and orphaned children in the hardest-hit areas.
\nEach package included flour, rice, lentils, ghee, and other essential items, helping families meet their basic needs during the holy month of fasting. For many recipients, this support is more than just food\u2014it is a source of hope and reassurance that their community has not forgotten them.
\nWomen volunteers from KBM CARE personally visited flood-affected homes, delivering aid and compassion alike. The gratitude of families and the smiles of children receiving their packages highlighted the impact of this initiative.
\nSpeaking at the distribution, Mufti Habib ur Rehman (Coordinator, KBM CARE Bahawalpur District) said, \u201cRamadan is a month of compassion and service. Helping widows, orphans, and flood-affected families is both a social and sacred responsibility. Every act of kindness can change a life.\u201d
\nLooking beyond immediate relief, KBM CARE will soon inaugurate the KBM Skilled Women Center in Bahawalpur. The center will offer vocational training to women without income, helping them gain financial independence and support their families with dignity.
\nThis Ramadan initiative is also active in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, reaching as many deserving families as possible.
