PESHAWAR
\nFederal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, and President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam on Monday said that Pakistan Resolution sets clear direction for millions of Muslims to achieve seperate homeland in subcontinent.
\nHe was addressing an impressive ceremony in connection of Pakistan Day held at Sangota in Swat.
\nIn his key note address, Engr Amir Muqam said that March 23, 1940, was a decisive day in the history of the Muslims of the subcontinent, when a clear resolve was made to establish a separate homeland where they could live with dignity and freedom.
\nThe Federal Minister said that unity, tolerance, and hard work are the fundamental pillars for Pakistan\u2019s stability, and that we must rise above party politics to promote national cohesion and take the country out of existing challenges.
\n\u201cif there is a country, there is politics,\u201d he said and added that it is everyone\u2019s duty to prioritize protection of Pakistan. He paid tribute to the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and COAS\/ CDF Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir for puting the country on path of peace and prosperity.
\nDespite the challenges faced by the country, he said the Government has ensured Pakistan\u2019s defense and stability and achieved significant success on all fronts.
\nThe Prime Minister\u2019s prudent policies and timely decisions have played an important role in stabilizing the national economy and promoting national unity.
\nHe further said that due to COAS\/CDF Field Marshal Asim Munir\u2019s professional capabilities, dynamic leadership and strong military strategy, the country\u2019s defense remains invincible.
\nEngineer Amir Muqam also praised Pakistan\u2019s armed forces for defending the country\u2019s sovereignty with a strong spirit of patriotism.
\nReferring to last year\u2019s \u201cBattle for Truth\u201d and Operation Iron Wall, he said the armed forces of Pakistan has delivered an effective and decisive response to the enemy and wrote a golden chapter of bravery in military\u2019s history.
\nHe commended the services of the armed forces of Pakistan, saying that whether in times of war or natural disasters, they have always served the nation. He criticized all those elements that speak against the country and expressed full confidence in the national leadership.
\nEngr Amir Muqam said that Pakistan is facing serious challenges such as terrorism, where even innocent civilians and mosques have been targeted, making it essential to ensure public safety through solid policies and coordinated efforts.
\nHe praised the patriotism of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially the Pashtuns, adding that they have endured hardships, including displacement, for the sake of the country.
\nRegarding Afghanistan, he said Pakistan has no hostility toward the Afghan people, but protecting its land and citizens from terrorism remains the top priority.
\nHe said Pakistan Resolution was not merely a resolution but the starting point of the realization of a great dream, which materialized in the form of Pakistan through the visionary leadership of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the sacrifices of millions of Muslims.
\nHe said this historic day reminds us of the sacrifices of our forefathers and stresses on people to utalize all their energies in the country\u2019s development, stability, and prosperity.
\nHe expressed confidence that the current leadership has all the capabilities to defend the country despite challenges and will continue to play its key role in establishing peace and economic stability in the country.
