MULTAN
\nSecretary General Milli Yakjehti Council Liaqat Baloch, said that Pakistan\u2019s efforts for peace negotiations har enhanced the country\u2019s dignity at the international level.
\nAddressing press conference in Multan on Saturday, he stated the world was currently facing a grave situation with ongoing wars and a rapidly worsening economic crisis. He said the Muslim world,in particular was confronted with serious challenges.
\nBaloch emphasized that the council was actively playing its role in promoting unity and peace,adding that all inhumane behaviors and actions were being resisted collectively.
\n\u201cWe stand firmly against cruelty and injustice,\u201d he remarked.
\nLiaqat Baloch said terrorism remains a major concern and reiterated that pursuing terrorists was Pakistan\u2019s legitimate right.
\nHe urged Afghanistan to improve its conduct, stressing that conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan does not serve the interests of either nation.
\nHe underlined that diplomatic channels between the two countries must always remain open.
