ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police finalized comprehensive security and traffic arrangements for the Christian community\u2019s festival of Easter, deploying more than 2,000 officers across the federal capital. An official told media on Sunday that traffic police personnel had been deployed to ensure smooth flow of traffic around churches and key routes during the festivities. He said all patrolling units and special squads were actively performing duties in different areas to maintain security. SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza said strict security measures had been put in place, adding that entry into churches would only be allowed after complete body search. He directed officers to remain on high alert, keep a close watch on surroundings and suspicious individuals, and ensure a secure environment.
