Chairman of the Prime Minister\u2019s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan said on Wednesday that Pakistan, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, achieved a significant diplomatic breakthrough on April 8, 2026, by playing a key role in securing a ceasefire between Iran and the United States through timely, strategic and coordinated efforts aimed at reducing regional tensions and promoting global peace.<\/p>\n
In a series of statements, Rana Mashhood said Pakistan\u2019s role in facilitating de escalation between Tehran and Washington highlighted its status as a responsible and peace promoting state on the global stage.<\/p>\n
