\nFederal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) achieved a significant and historic milestone today by signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with reputable private sector organizations. The ceremony was held at the FGEHA Committee Room, Sector G-10\/4, Islamabad, and was attended by senior officials, distinguished guests, and a large number of media representatives.
\nOn this occasion, MoUs were signed between FGEHA and M\/s Saadat Enterprises, Chakri Road, Rawalpindi, and separately with M\/s Tameer Estate, Angoori Road, Murree, for the development of housing societies. These projects will be executed under FGEHA\u2019s Joint Venture (JV) and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Rules 2025 on an End Product Basis, marking a major step toward the promotion of residential facilities in the country.
\nThe first project pertains to the construction of mixed-use apartments on 196 kanals of land (expandable up to 1,000 kanals) located on Angoori Road, Murree. This project will be carried out under the Facilitator\/Regulator Mode, wherein FGEHA will act as a facilitator and regulator, while the joint venture partner will be responsible for financing, designing, and construction.
\nThe second project involves the development of a housing scheme on approximately 1,400 kanals of land (expandable) located on Chakri Road, Rawalpindi, near the proposed Ring Road.
\nOn this occasion, Director General FGEHA, Captain (Retd.) Zafar Iqbal, expressed his gratitude to media representatives and distinguished guests for their participation. He particularly appreciated the efforts and contributions of the JV team, especially Director JVP, Mr. Faiz Umar Sial, and commended his professional performance.
\nDuring the ceremony, the Director General reiterated FGEHA\u2019s commitment to delivering modern residential facilities and creating accessible housing opportunities for the general public, particularly government employees. He emphasized that these projects are expected to improve infrastructure, generate employment opportunities, and stimulate economic activity.
\nThe Director General further stated that this development aligns with the Authority\u2019s vision of ensuring innovation, transparency, and efficiency in the housing sector through public-private partnerships. He added that this initiative will promote investment in Pakistan\u2019s housing sector and open new avenues for modern urban development.
\nThese agreements will lay the foundation for future residential projects that are modern, secure, and of high quality, reflecting FGEHA\u2019s commitment to providing an improved standard of living for the public.
