\nTensions escalated in Dara Adam Khel on Thursday as students staged a violent protest against strict monitoring inside examination halls during the ongoing annual exams, resulting in property damage and disruption of traffic.
\nAccording to the district administration, the situation turned volatile when students reacted strongly to what they described as harsh behavior and strict checking by exam staff.
\nThe protest quickly intensified with students leaving the examination centers and gathering on the main road.
\nThe demonstrators blocked the central highway, causing long traffic jams and significant inconvenience for commuters. Eyewitnesses reported that enraged students smashed the windows of several vehicles and set a motorcycle on fire, spreading fear and panic in the area.
\nAuthorities and law enforcement agencies promptly arrived at the scene to bring the situation under control. After negotiations between the administration and the protesting students, the road was eventually cleared and reopened for traffic.
