PTI gathering to mark a milestone for democracy and rule of law, CM\u2019s aide on information

\nSpecial Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, Shafi Jan, stated that the large and successful Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf public gathering in Mardan is clear evidence of the people\u2019s trust in founding chairman Imran Khan and his strong popular support.
\nHe said the gathering would serve as a milestone in strengthening democracy, upholding the supremacy of the Constitution and rule of law, and highlighting what he described as injustices by the federal government, political victimization, alleged mandate theft, and the demand for Imran Khan\u2019s release.
\nHe further noted that Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has announced a development package worth Rs. 50 billion for Mardan, aimed at improving facilities in health, education, and other key sectors.
\nShafi Jan added that under the Chief Minister\u2019s Sohail Afridi leadership, successful street movement and large public gatherings across the country demonstrates that all political tactics of the federal and Punjab governments have failed. Despite what he termed as false and baseless political cases, party workers remain firmly united with Imran Khan.
\nHe stated that Imran Khan has been unjustly imprisoned in fabricated cases; however, prison hardships and political pressures by a federal government, which he said lacks a public mandate, have failed to weaken his resolve, determination, or public support.
\nHe further said that PTI\u2019s public mandate was \u201cstolen\u201d at both the federal level and in Punjab, resulting in serious economic and political instability in the country. According to him, governments formed under \u201cForm 47\u201d were aimed not at public service but at acquiring power through illegitimate means.
\nHe concluded by reaffirming that the provincial government is taking concrete steps for public welfare and development, while continuing constitutional, legal, and peaceful political efforts for the release of Imran Khan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
