Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar on Wednesday reiterated that the Pahalgam incident was a false flag operation, stating India has failed to substantiate its allegations against Pakistan even after one year.
\nSpeaking to media on the completion of one year since India\u2019s 2025 Pahalgam false flag operation, the minister said April 22 marks its anniversary, as a reflection of a hollow and illogical mindset driven by false ego, arrogance, and greed.
\nHe said India\u2019s problem is that it presents its internal matters as external ones and its external matters as internal issues. As an example, terrorism is an internal matter for India, yet it is portrayed as an external one.
\nSimilarly, the minister stated that the Kashmir issue is an international and global matter, but India presents it as an internal issue.
\nHe said India\u2019s hollow thinking and deception are exposed due to its history of false flag operations, carried out through slogans in a clumsy manner. India has been a promoter of terrorism, while Pakistan has been a victim of it.
\nTherefore, Attaullah Tarar said, \u201cWe express our sympathy and sorrow for the citizens who became victims of Indian terrorism in Pahalgam.\u201d He added that the Prime Minister of Pakistan openly called for an impartial and independent inquiry into the incident. \u201cOur intentions were clear, and our resolve was firm. That is why Pakistan, with complete clarity, offered a neutral and fair inquiry at the international level.\u201d
\nThe minister said India\u2019s refusal to accept such an inquiry proved that it was a false flag operation and that India has no response. To this day, India has been unable to provide any proof or evidence regarding the incident.
\nAttaullah Tarar said many questions were raised about the Pahalgam incident. For instance, an FIR was registered within 10 minutes of the event. \u201cThis implies that the text of the FIR was already prepared,\u201d he said, adding that the police station was quite far from the site, making the timing surprising.
\nHe noted that not only international media but also Indian civil society, politicians, and think tanks questioned how the incident occurred without security, yet an FIR was registered so quickly.
\nHe said Pakistan was blamed immediately without proof, evidence, inquiry, or investigation, and when Pakistan called for an inquiry, India had no response.
\nThe minister said it is difficult to sustain false, baseless, and fabricated propaganda following such incidents. India failed to build a convincing narrative because the operation was false, fake and lacked evidence.
\nHe added that the world is now asking questions while India has no answers.
\nThe federal minister also criticized Indian media that had created a war-like atmosphere through propaganda, exaggeration, and misinformation.
\nAttaullah Tarar further said it is unfortunate that, India\u2019s institutions have become politicized and influenced by Hindutva ideology. The minorities were being deprived of their rights and that Muslims in India were being targeted and denied basic rights.
\nThe minister reiterated that Pakistan maintains that India uses terrorism as a policy and has been involved in incidents internationally. He referenced cases involving Sikhs\u2019 killing in countries such as Canada and the UK, and evidence of transnational repression.
\nHe noted Indian involvement with groups such as the TTP \u2018Fitna al-Khawarij\u2019, and in incidents within Pakistan, including the Jaffer Express train incident and the Khuzdar bus incident. He said Pakistan regularly shares such evidence with the international community and media.
\nHe stated that Pakistan has submitted evidence of India\u2019s state-sponsored terrorism to the United Nations and other international organizations and remains committed to eliminating terrorism.
\nThe minister emphasized that Pakistan will not compromise on its honor or dignity and will take all necessary steps to eradicate terrorism.
\nReferring to remarks by Indian military leadership regarding \u201cOperation Sindoor,\u201d he said such statements amount to an admission of defeat. He warned that any misadventure by India would be met with a firm, decisive, and swift response.
\nHe said Pakistan had dealt India a humiliating defeat during the Marka-e-Haq in Operation Bunyan-Un-Marsoos, adding that the country takes pride in this achievement.
\nHe said the nation stands united with the Pakistan Armed Forces and reaffirmed country\u2019s \u2019s commitment to defending itself.
\nThe minister said Pakistan is striving for peace and has earned international respect due to the tireless efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. He said India, due to its policies, is facing global isolation.
\nHe concluded that April 22 marks as the last false flag operation carried out by India in Pahalgam, asserting that Pakistan\u2019s response has deterred any such future attempts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
