He also inaugurated the SMBBMU Sports Week 2026 and participated in the opening badminton match alongside the Vice Chancellor.<br \/>\nOn this occasion, he appreciated the promotion of co-curricular activities within the University.<br \/>\nAt the event, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Nusrat Shah briefed him on ongoing development projects and improvements in the university\u2019s infrastructure.<br \/>\nThe Chairman HEC praised the leadership and vision of the Vice Chancellor and urged the faculty to focus on research and innovation.<br \/>\nHe stated that the Higher Education Commission Pakistan is increasing research funding to promote collaborative and impactful projects. He also reviewed the HEC-funded project titled \u201cCenter for Advanced Research in Molecular, Genetic and Allied Facilities at SMBBMU Larkana\u201d and expressed satisfaction over its progress.<br \/>\nAt the conclusion of the visit, he appreciated the overall developmental initiatives of the University.
