\nIran\u2019s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) said on Sunday that US President Donald Trump must choose between an \u201cimpossible\u201d war or a \u201cbad deal\u201d with Iran.
\nIn a post on X, the intelligence department of the IRGC said Tehran sent the US military a deadline to end its blockade of Iranian ports. It added that Europe, China and Russia were adopting a more critical tone toward Washington.
\n\u201cThere is only one way to read this: Trump must choose between \u2018an impossible military operation or a bad deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
\n\u201cThe room for US decision-making has narrowed,\u201d it said.
\nTrump says US could restart Iran strikes \u2018if they misbehave\u2019
\nUS President Donald Trump said on Saturday he had been told about the concept of a deal with Iran, but was \u200bwaiting for the exact wording, while warning there was still the possibility of restarting strikes on the country if Tehran misbehaves.
\nMeanwhile, a senior Iranian official said that an Iranian proposal so far rejected by Trump would open shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and end the US blockade of Iran while leaving talks on Iran\u2019s nuclear program for later.
\nWhen asked about Iran\u2019s proposal before boarding a flight to Miami at West Palm Beach, Florida, Trump replied: \u201cThey told me about the concept of the deal. They\u2019re going to give me the exact wording now\u201d.
\nHe added on his social \u200bmedia channel that he could not imagine the proposals would be acceptable and that Iran had not paid a big enough price for what it had done.
\nAsked if \u200bhe might restart strikes on Iran, Trump replied: \u201cI don\u2019t want to say that. I mean, I can\u2019t tell a reporter that. If \u2060they misbehave, if they do something bad, right now we\u2019ll see. But it\u2019s a possibility that could happen\u201d.

\nTrump said the US Navy was acting \u201clike pirates\u201d in carrying out Washington\u2019s naval blockade of Iranian ports during the US and Israel\u2019s war against Iran.
\nTrump made the comments while describing the seizure by US forces of a ship a few days ago.
\n\u201cWe took over the ship, we took over the cargo, we took over the oil. It\u2019s a very profitable business,\u201d Trump said in remarks on Friday evening. \u201cWe\u2019re like pirates. We\u2019re sort of like pirates, but we are not playing games\u201d.
\nMeanwhile, a senior Iranian military official has said renewed conflict with the US is \u201cpossible\u201d after Donald Trump rejected the latest peace proposal from Tehran.
\n\u201cEvidence has shown that the United States is not committed to any promises or agreements,\u201d said Brig Gen Mohammad Jafar Asadi, spokesman for Iran\u2019s military headquarters, in remarks carried by Iranian news agencies.
\n\u201cSurprise measures are planned for the enemy, beyond their imagination,\u201d Asadi said.
