\nThe Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department on Monday formally launched the \u201cE-Transfer Plus Policy 2026\u201d, a revised and expanded digital transfer system aimed at improving transparency, merit, and efficiency in teacher postings.
\nThe policy was inaugurated by Provincial Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education Arshad Ayub Khan along with Secretary Education Khalid Khan, in the presence of senior officials of the department, a handout said.
\nThe statement said the new policy was an upgraded version of the earlier E-Transfer system, incorporating modern reforms, additional modules, and stronger accountability mechanisms.
\nSpeaking on the occasion, the education minister said the policy for the first time integrates a performance-based transfer system, linking teachers\u2019 postings with school performance indicators, including student results, attendance, and institutional outcomes. He said the initiative would help improve educational standards and ensure merit-based placements.
\nSecretary Education Khalid Khan said the revised policy introduces several new features, including a Special Provision Grounds module for cases such as widowhood, disability, medical needs and spouse transfers, supported by online applications and documentation requirements.
\nHe added that oversight and placement committees have been introduced to ensure transparency, complaint resolution and data verification, while strict action will be taken against submission of fake documents.
\nThe policy also introduces an online NOC system for inter-district transfers, a digital verification mechanism, and a merit-based scoring framework considering factors such as student-teacher ratio, academic results, service tenure and qualifications.
\nOfficials said mutual transfers will remain active year-round to facilitate teachers, while the system aims to gradually bring all postings and transfers under a fully digital, merit-based platform.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
