23 injured under treatment, while seven others with minor wounds discharged: DPO

\nAt least nine people, including two traffic police officials and a woman were killed and more than 33 others were injured when heavy explosive planted in a motorcycle went off in the main market of Sarai Naurang tehsil in Lakki Marwat district on Tuesday.
\nAccording to initial police report, the blast occurred in a crowded area of the town\u2019s main bazaar. Two traffic police officials, identified as LHC Rahatullah and LHC Adil Jan, were killed on the spot. Several injured victims later succumbed to their wounds, raising the death toll to nine.
\nOfficials from Rescue 1122 said that all injured and deceased were shifted immediately to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Sarai Naurang.
\nHospital authorities declared an emergency and called in additional medical staff to handle the situation.
\nHospital officials said several critically injured victims were referred to hospitals in Bannu and Peshawar for advanced treatment.
