Acting on the tip-off, a police team immediately reached the location.<br \/>\nPolice said the suspect opened fire upon seeing the police party, prompting officers to retaliate. During the exchange of fire, the wanted criminal was killed on the spot.<br \/>\nPolice records revealed that the dead criminal was wanted in the murder case of motorcycle trader Asfandiyar, who was killed on April 28, 2026. He was allegedly involved in extortion activities and had been demanding money from local shopkeepers on a regular basis.<br \/>\nAuthorities further stated that the suspect had previously been arrested in eight different criminal cases registered at City, Sardheri, and Prang police stations, including theft, attempted murder, narcotics and other serious offenses.<br \/>\nFollowing the incident, police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation for possible presence of his accomplices.
