However, instead of being preserved as cultural heritage sites, the properties\u2019 condition have deteriorated because of years of neglect.
\nDilip Kumar\u2019s ancestral house, located in Mohallah Khudadad, once echoed with life and celebration but now presents the look of an abandoned structure. Large sections of the roof have collapsed, while walls continue to crumble into debris. Residents and heritage enthusiasts say the historic property urgently requires restoration before it is lost forever. Meanwhile, Raj Kapoor\u2019s historic mansion in Dhaki Nalbandi, once admired for its unique architecture and regarded as a symbol of Peshawar\u2019s cultural identity is also on the verge of destruction.
\nHeavy rains and recent earthquake tremors reportedly weakened the structure further, leaving deep cracks in the walls that could lead to a major accident at any time.
\nThere is growing demand from citizens and cultural experts for the immediate preservation of both properties.
