Islamabad: The Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that peace has been restored in Balochistan with collective efforts.
\nHe was talking to member National Assembly Mahmood Khan Achakzai who called on him here on Friday.Online reported.
\nPrime Minister reiterated resolve to extend the government`s development agenda to every nook and corner of the country.
\nOverall political situation and ongoing development projects in the country were discussed during the meeting.
\nAfter holding meeting with members of PML-N Parliamentary Party the other day, the Prime Minister met leaders of the parties supporting his government to discuss the political situation in the country in the context of opposition\u2019s threat of protests after failure of the treachery and opposition benches in the Parliament to reach an agreement on TORs for investigation in Panama Leaks.
\nPakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai, BNP President Mir Hasil Bizenjo and Chief of Qaumi Watan Party Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao met Mr Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at PM House today (Friday.
\nSources said that overall national affairs and political matters were discussed during the meeting. Law and order situation and developmental schemes pertaining to Balochistan also came under discussion in the meeting.
\nThe Prime Minister reiterated his government\u2019s resolve to extend the agenda of development to all parts of the country.
\n“The people of Balochistan will reap the benefits of the ongoing mega projects including the CPEC in the province,” he said.
\nNawaz Sharif further stated that collective efforts have resulted into a stable and peaceful Balochistan.
\nMr Achakzai and Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo appreciated the Prime Minister for his keen interest in the development of the country particularly Balochistan and hoped that the implementation of CPEC would bring a revolution in the province. They assured support to the Prime Minister in the implementation of his agenda.
\nDuring meeting with Mr Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao, national affairs and political situation in the country were discussed.
\nMean while Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has approved compensation money of Rs. 50, 000\/ for each family of the stranded Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia.
\nThe Prime Minister has approved a total amount of Rs. 500 Million to be distributed amongst the families of ten thousand stranded Pakistanis.
\nThe Prime Minister has directed the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development to prepare authenticated lists of the concerned families at the earliest possible. The Prime Minister further directed that disbursement of cheques amounting to Rs. 50,000 for each family must be ensured as early as possible.
\nPrime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that the Federal Government is in constant touch with the relevant authorities in Afghanistan and the state\u2019s resources are fully utilised to rescue the personnel who were onboard in the helicopter. \u2018Formal and informal channels are being used to ensure safe recovery of the entire crew\u2019, further said the Prime Minister.
\n\u2018We are profoundly concerned about the safety of the whole team that was travelling on the helicopter. We have formally requested the Government of Afghanistan to help in their safe recovery, at the earliest possible\u2019, said the Prime Minister.
\nSharing the pain and agony of the families of the crew members, the Prime Minister assured that all-out efforts are being made by the Federal Government and its agencies to guarantee the safe return of each member.<\/p>\n
Murad puts development proposals in meeting with PM<\/p>\n
ISLAMABAD: Freshly appointed Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif assured him of cooperation for betterment of Sindh during the first ever one-on-one meeting between the two, INP reported on Friday.
\nThe Chief Minister held a press conference in Islamabad after meeting the premier.
\nShah said that Rangers issue regarding department\u2019s policing powers was solved in the meeting.
\nWhile answering a question, Shah said that late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had said that politics is the paradise of the people.
\nCorruption should be eradicated at all cost, he said adding that he recommended the Prime Minister to add two more projects in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
\nHe quoted premier\u2019s reply that the recommendation would be considered in a positive fashion.
\nSecretary Water and Power was ordered by the premier to clear all reservations of Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.
\nWhile briefing the media on his meeting, Shah said that there would be no compromise over Sindh\u2019s rights and he would attempt to establish good terms with the federation.
\nHe announced that cabinet would be increased soon in the near future.
\nWhile talking about Sindh\u2019s issues and government\u2019s determination he said that the province has abundant resources while challenges aren\u2019t any lesser.
\nBut, he said that the government has enough time to right the wrong in the province.
