During a meeting with US Charg\u00e9 d\u2019Affaires Natalie A. Baker, he said railway connections to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Nokkundi and Gwadar will promote trade and connectivity in the region. Both sides agreed that the US will explore investment opportunities in Pakistan Railways\u2019 infrastructure and modern technology. The US Charg\u00e9 d\u2019Affaires assured to encourage American companies and investors to invest in Pakistan Railways. Discussions were held on opportunities for US investment in locomotives, wagons, freight operations and railway technology in Pakistan Railways.
