The briefing was presented by EPA Director Afsar Ali in the presence of Secretary Climate Change, Forests, Environment and Wildlife Junaid Khan, EPA Director General Asadullah Khan, and other senior officials.<br \/>\nThe EPA updated the advisor on its role in enforcing environmental laws across the province, controlling pollution, monitoring industrial emissions, approving Environmental Impact Assessments, and promoting sustainable development.<br \/>\nPraising the EPA\u2019s work, Pir Musavir Khan said a clean, safe, and healthy environment is a fundamental right of every citizen, and that the government would mobilize all resources to protect it.<br \/>\nHe noted that rising challenges from climate change and pollution make it urgent to boost institutional capacity.<br \/>\nThe advisor directed the EPA to accelerate enforcement of environmental laws, adopt modern monitoring systems, expand public awareness campaigns, and promote eco-friendly technologies in industry.
