Chairman<br \/>\nSenate Mian Raza Rabbani also participated in the meeting and deliberated to further augment the the role of the APA and contribution of the Pakistan to the forum.<br \/>\nDuring the recent meeting of APA in Cambodia , a resolution was adopted in which Pakistani delegation actively participated and presented Pakistan&#8217;s stance effectively on issue specially Kashmir issue. The resolution also<br \/>\ncalled for peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue according to the wishes and aspirations of Kashmiri people while adhering to the UNSC resolutions.<br \/>\nThe proposal of creation of Asian Parliament was also floated by Pakistan in the 7th Plenary of the APA hosted by Senate of Pakistan in Lahore in 2014 and since then has vigorously pursued the said goal.
