\nKhyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control, Syed Fakhar Jehan, on Monday visited the University of Buner, where he was received by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Jamshed Ali Khan, along with members of the university\u2019s administrative and academic staff.
\nDuring the visit, the provincial minister formally inaugurated a 200 Mbps high-speed internet facility for students and was given a detailed briefing on the university\u2019s academic and research activities, newly established departments, ongoing development projects and future expansion plans. He also inspected various sections of the university and reviewed the facilities available to students and faculty members.
\nAddressing a ceremony on the occasion, Syed Fakhar Jahan said the provincial government was taking practical measures to ensure the provision of quality, modern and purposeful education to children and youth across the province without any political discrimination.
\nHe said equipping the younger generation with educational opportunities aligned with modern requirements was essential for building a progressive, skilled and prosperous society. The minister said the vision of founding chairman Imran Khan was to ensure equal access to quality education and opportunities for every child in the country.
\nThe provincial government was making concerted efforts to translate this people-centric vision into reality.
