ISLAMABAD: In a landmark achievement for Pakistan\u2019s healthcare sector, Shifa International Hospital (SIH) has become the first hospital in the world to simultaneously secure Joint Commission International (JCI) Clinical Care Program Certifications for both Acute Ischemic Stroke and Acute Coronary Syndrome programs, setting a new global benchmark in specialized patient care.
\nThe unprecedented distinction places SIH among a select group of leading healthcare institutions worldwide. According to the hospital, only five hospitals across the globe currently hold either of the two certifications individually, while Shifa stands alone in achieving both certifications at the same time.
